Frequently Asked Questions |

This is an
Apostolic church. What does "Apostolic" mean?
The term "Apostolic" is taken from the word "Apostle"
which means disciple, follower, missionary or messenger. The first
apostles of the New Testament church were obedient to God's word,
evangelized their world, taught the message of salvation, and lived
a moral Christian lifestyle every day.
Why do we sing
and play musical instruments in our services?
Because in the Bible we read … “I will praise thee, O
LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous
works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy
name, O thou most High,” (Psalm 9:1-2)
“Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud
noise, and rejoice, and sing praise,”
(Psalm 98:4)
“And David and all
the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of
instruments,” (2
Samuel 6:5)
Why do we clap and
lift our hands in worship?
Because in the Bible we read ... “O clap your hands,
all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph,”
(Psalm 47:1)
“Lift your hands
in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD,”
(Psalm 134:2)
Why do we pray
together out loud?
Because in the Bible we read ... “I will greatly
praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the
multitude,” (Psalm 109:30)
“They lifted up their voice to God with one accord,”
(Acts 4:24)
